fall project

I was influenced by my friend, Annie, who is crocheting caps for veterans and babies, to find a  project where I might contribute.  I selected http://www.conkerrcancer.org   which is an organization that collects items for children with cancer.  I am making pillowcases.  I completed the first one today.  There are chapters of this organization all over--feel free to join in.  I didn't realize, but the summer months are very slow on donations, so September is the month when the organization tries to gain on supplies.
