sewing project

I selected fabric and started to sew--the pattern was labeled "easy"......I think maybe Vogue's definition of easy and mine might be different???  Instead of making a jacket I used a mid-weight cotton woven fabric and didn't add the lining.  It has gussets under the arms so there is easier movement in the kimono style sleeves.  I omitted the "welt" pocket---(since when did sewn-in welt pockets be "easy" sewing??) and made a mock welt out of the same fabric that surrounds the separating zipper.  I love it!!!  will have to take photos with skinny jeans and shoes-but here are  a few....
