throw back Thursday or creative pursuit???

 not sure which category for this item...I started knitting this afghan while watching the Super Bowl back in KS, sometime around the mid-90's.  I have knitted on it off and on Super Bowls and other times and finally finished it last week, Super Bowl XLIX.  I don't remember the teams from the first Knitting event ;-)  It is blue variegated acrylic/wool yarn, fan and feather pattern using size 11 needles.
