throw-back Thursday- Fashion

so I got this brainstorm to post a "throwback Thursday" Fashion post.  Part of my life is re-creating and re-purposing old fabrics/garments into new ones--so why not post the garments in actual use.  So this first one is a dress I made in the 90's when I was on this "long-baggy dress kick".  I wore it this week teaching and got several compliments from my college students--woo-woo!!  There is a very similar one for sale at Urban Outfitters.   The only adjustments for this garment was to cut off about 2 feet of fabric and re-hem to knee length.  It is a red flannel plaid attached to a denim zippered "vest".
