dress-re do
this is a denim vest purchased at the thrift store for $3 and a piece of lace sewn on for the body of the dress--if making for smaller bodies, pillowcases, table clothes, lace curtains could be used. I had this fabric and used it, but the other ideas would work nicely because they would not need to be hemmed. I did add a lining.
