finished project--

the project took me about 20 minutes to hang, once I had the supplies.  The lettuce sprouted in about 5 days and the spinach in 7.  Will post photos once the plants get a little bigger.

Here is the sketch of my idea for creating a vertical garden in my back yard.  I did not want to attach anything permanent onto the fence so had to figure out a way for it work.  Supplies:  one eavestrough/gutter cut into half, 2 sets of the end caps for the eave, small link chain, 4 S links, 2 D clips. 

thrift store bargain

I found these yoga tank tops for $2 at my local thrift store.  I cut up the one shirt to make the ruffles that I sewed over the top of the words on the other one.  I think they are advertising a radio station from Boston, at least that is what I could find online.
