a few months ago I saw this great table runner priced way above the amount I wanted to spend (top photo), but the concept of putting together the various fabrics inspired me--so I started and the project is now complete(bottom photo)--I must confess there was at least one time when I thought it would have been alot less hassle and time to just have purchased the original one! ;-p

I am the Winner!!

I just found out that I am the winner of the Sketchbook Challenge for May!!  YEAH!!  Thank you Kathy for alerting me.  I was doing art at the CREATE art workshops in Irvine.  Here are some of the fabrics I painted in Jeannie Palmer Moore's class. I also saw the very talented Jane LaFazio--she was wearing one of Secret Lentils dresses--looking fabulous--both the dress and Jane!! ;-)
