the art of teaching rather than the art of fiber these days.....

last night I counted approx 310 short assignment papers and 8 research projects to grade. On the positive side, I have graded approx 100 research projects.......the stack is smaller!!

my friend, Kathy, whom I met at bookclub years ago, and now lives in CT, also an artist at heart, made this lovely prayer flag as she was thinking about my mom and her surgery.

one of my friends turns 50 soon.......

packing 50 gifts--because of course, if you turn 50, you need to have 50 birthday gifts......wonder if she can unwrap them faster than it took me to wrap all 50?? wonder if she will model some of

them and post photos? wonder if I should give out her name..........
