now what to do........

so, in art class with Jane LaFazio we did weavings. I had read about cutting in zig-zags to make an irregular weave, so I did. It was alot of fun.....but now what to do with this as a background??? I am enjoying looking at it for now--and I do have a month to figure out what to do for the project. I might try the same technique with monochromatic colors.

Think she is done--maybe adding more beads? the beads around the edge took FOREVER! had to string them on a pretty sturdy thread so they wouldn't tip and then couched each bead, but it looks like I wanted it to.

I saw this great table runner in Pier 1 for about $50 and decided I could make one in the colors that worked better in my house.......so am playing with fabrics and colors right now you can see both runners here--getting started
