Just back from a wonderful 6 days in London!! Would have loved to live at the Victoria-Albert museum in their textile collection rooms---wonderful collection of laces and fabrics throughout the centuries. Also a hall full of iron works--they really caught my artistic eye--will see where they show up in the next art creations. oh--and the jewelry collection is worth mentioning--saw diamonds from the Hope Diamond collection--oh my, oh my--decided yes, I am definately a diamond girl.

Kansas circles

while in KS, Mom and I started these circles using scraps from old fabric,--am starting to stitch on mine--think Mom has put hers away to work on more precise quilting--she is a master traditional quilter!

thanksgiving weekend

stitched on this piece over thanksgiving weekend--as I was enjoying the visit with family in the mountains. the piece is a rubbing using fabric and colored shiva paintstix and then stitched with embroidery floss.
