learned how to do "Zen-tangles" from the article by Sandy Steen Bartholomew as posted in Dec. Cloth, Paper, Scissors-a very fun activity!!

new passions #2

I just learned how to do sudoku puzzles--thank-you Carol!! I love doing them--although I am a beginner!! My first puzzle suggested solve time as 6 minutes--let me tell you--it was more like 46 minutes. I really like doing them in color--

almost finished

suddenly I needed to stitch everything-so I have been stitiching-ready to matt and think it needs a dark wood frame. the piece is 100% cotton, soywax dyed, hand-stitched, using antique buttons from my Grandmother

ahhh--the lovely smells of the farm

I dervie great pleasure from adding soil amendments to my small garden spot--I can hardly wait until the summer/fall plants are cleared and I can spread out good 'ole cow manure--I know--it is my guilting secret (all of cyberspace now knows)---I also walk down the garden store aisle that holds the bags of cow manure and stand there and inhale deeply ;-)

knitting

this is a scarf from some fabulous yarn that once was one of several kinds of yarn in a huge shawl that I just took apart--the purple yarn became a scarf for my girlfriend that just moved to Monatana, she will need it!! I forgot to take a photo of the purple scarf--but here is this one.

velvet and faux leather purse

what I've been up to

here is my version of a Michael Kors dress that I fell in love with--well, maybe I fell in love with the purple tights!! but anyway, this is rayon trimmed with faux leather, purple piping, and bronze--love it and the purple tights!! YEAH!!
