thrift store to couture pt. 2

I snipped the elastic and was ecstatic to find "bell" sleeves--glorious, 70's rendition of the bell sleeve--so that changed my idea of adding a sleevecuff--so I lengthened them with a variety of fabrics and added antique buttons from my grandmother's stash, the original buttons are now concealed underneath the new front trim. I will model it for you soon--it looks fabulous on--if I must say so myself!! ;-)

so I have been getting back into the swing of teaching at the Uni full-time--my creativity has been in enticing the bright minds of the future to study!!

on a weekend jaunt to my fav thrift store, I found this very simple and basic blouse--brand new as far as I could tell for the great price of $5.95 well--I couldn't leave it alone---notice the elastic on the sleeves--it was wayyyy too tight for my arms--maybe why it was unworn and in the thrift store???
